Grammy Nominations 2025 Taylor Swift
The 2025 Grammy nominations have arrived, and Beyoncé has once again claimed the spotlight with a staggering 11 nods, bringing her career total to an incredible 99! Not far behind, Grammy darlings Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, Post Malone, and Charli XCX are each celebrating seven nominations. Charli XCX, in particular, is riding high with her breakout hit Brat, marking her first big Grammy success.
Meanwhile, Taylor Swift has a quieter presence this year by her standards, picking up six nominations for The Tortured Poets Department, showing she’s still a force to be reckoned with, even with a smaller stack of nods. Rising stars Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan also captured six nominations each in their Grammy debut year, making waves in a big way.

The Album of the Year category is a hotbed of talent, with top contenders including Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department, Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter, Billie Eilish’s Hit Me Hard and Soft, Charli XCX’s Brat, and Chappell Roan’s The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess. They’ll be vying against Andre 3000’s unique New Blue Sun, a woodwind-driven album, and Jacob Collier’s innovative Djesse Vol. 4. Over in the Record of the Year category, we have nominations for songs from most of these albums, with The Beatles’ nostalgic “Now and Then” and Kendrick Lamar’s fierce “Not Like Us”—a track inspired by his high-profile rivalry with Drake—joining the list.
Among the first-time nominees, Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan aren’t the only ones turning heads; Shaboozey is in the mix too, scoring five nominations for collaborations like “A Bar Song (Tipsy).” Doechii also makes her Grammy debut, snagging three nominations, including one for Best New Artist. Jazz icon Chick Corea was honored with three posthumous nominations, tying him with Kanye West for fifth place in Grammy history with an impressive 75 career nominations.
A notable no-show this year is country star Zach Bryan, who opted out of the competition altogether, citing a discomfort with awards that make music a battleground. His decision echoes past critiques from Grammy skeptics like Drake, the Weeknd, and Frank Ocean.
