王星从缅北获救的消息进一步推动公众对类似诈骗案件的重视，许多受害者及其亲友借此机会曝光自身经历并寻求帮助。本联盟收集了网络上流传的求助信息，骗子以提供工作机会或商业合作为幌子，诱骗受害者前往相对安全的旅行目的地，如中国云南、泰国，随后将其诱骗至缅北诈骗园区。被害者职业、籍贯分布广泛。

值得注意的是，其中出现了一种新型的诈骗模式：以前往泰国等地参与影视剧拍摄为幌子，专门诱骗年轻的影视剧相关职业的年轻人。演员邓友、许大久和范虎均公开表示曾遭遇类似骗局。根据他们的描述，犯罪分子以拍摄影视剧为名试图诱骗他们前往泰国曼谷，进而将其绑架至缅北诈骗园区。幸运的是，邓友最终未赴约，而许大久与范虎在抵达泰国后察觉异常，及时逃脱。

然而并非所有人都如此幸运。根据本联盟的不完全统计，其他类似案例中的受害者至今下落不明：

The news of Wang Xing’s rescue from northern Myanmar has heightened public awareness of similar scam cases. Many victims and their families have taken the opportunity to share their experiences and seek assistance. Our alliance has gathered a collection of calls for help circulating online (YouTube Playlist). Scammers often use job offers or business collaborations as a pretense to lure victims to seemingly safe travel destinations, such as Yunnan, China, or Thailand, before deceiving them into being taken to fraud compounds in northern Myanmar. Victims span a wide range of professions and hometowns.

A particularly concerning trend is the emergence of a new type of scam targeting young professionals in the film and television industry. Under the guise of participating in film or TV productions in places like Thailand, scammers have specifically targeted actors, models, and other industry workers. Actors Deng You, Xu Dajiu, and Fan Hu have all publicly shared their encounters with such scams. According to their accounts, criminals tried to lure them to Bangkok, Thailand, under the pretense of filming a production, with the intent of later kidnapping them to northern Myanmar’s fraud compounds. Fortunately, Deng You decided not to attend the meeting, while Xu Dajiu and Fan Hu became suspicious after arriving in Thailand and managed to escape in time.

However, not everyone has been as fortunate. Based on incomplete statistics from our alliance, other victims in similar cases remain missing to this day:
