我的聖誕，提早來臨了 - 《Christmas Truce》

這文題，可不是 click bite。「聖誕」，的確來到了！我所講的，是我最愛的 power metal 樂隊 SABATON 的最新作品《Christmas Truce》，提早在十月底的當下發佈。

正如我之前寫過的 SABATON 介紹文，今次的作品同樣取材自戰爭史，而且是我個人認為的，近現代戰爭中最值得紀念的一幕：第一次世界大戰下，西歐戰線在聖誕期間的短暫休戰，即後世所稱的「聖誕節休戰」。

SABATON 的 MV 一向都異常優質，今次更是我心中的 top 1。從戰爭的殘酷，導向參與其中的軍人的自我，當有人站出來，放下武器後，大家逐漸聚首一堂，踢波、玩音樂，彷佛當刻戰爭不存在般。

對於身處和平時代的我般平民大眾，或者難以切身理解到，戰爭期間互相為敵的兩軍，為何能在聖誕節日，放下自己的武器，與上一刻的「敵人」共同慶祝。也許只是單純的，他們在「今日不知明日事」的戰場上，希望以休戰追求在聖誕一刻的安寧。

又或者，只是在身處於非生即死、殺與被殺的殘酷環境下，休戰的緩衝能讓他們尋回自己僅餘的理性與自我。在休戰一刻，身為軍人以前，能先以身為「人」的身份而活；面對對方，視為敵人以前，能先視其為同處在這片土地上的「朋友」、「兄弟」而接觸。

也許他們只能短暫擁有這夢幻的景象，但這一點的「幻象」，足以在這場「史上最大、最可怕的戰爭」中，保留一絲人性，值得嗎？

我想我不用回答了。
